Woof everybody, Sugar the Weather Dog again.  Jack is busy doing other things, so while he is, I am going to sneak in another session at the keyboard.  I should mention in my official job as the Weather Dog for Jack's blog, the current desktop temperature is 20 degrees and according to the National Weather Service, the snow ended several hours ago.  But, the  National Weather Service is not living in this town.  Right now, the snow is coming down at a pretty good clip, and if this is light, well I'll eat my food fast tonight.  Oh yeah, I"ll do that anyway.

Mary, Jack and I went for a great walk this morning, but before we let, it took two humans to get my boots on.  I struggled some, but that is not all that unexpected.  Is it?  Later, when my paws didn't hurt, I was thankful, but the indignity of it all is almost too much.

Mary found a picture of a Pug on the web wearing the same kind of boots that I was wearing, but they were red, while mine are blue.  Jack says that the colors tell you what size they are, whatever that means.  All I know is that they look a little silly and feel weird when I walk.  But as I said, my feet were thankful.

I have included some candid pictures that I found on Jack's desktop.  They are of course, all about me.  I guess that my humans won't be going out without me tonight.  That too is as it should be, cause like I said before, I think, it is all about me.  I also included some pictures of the snow here in our town for Barb, Debbie, and Steph and Adam.  Sometimes, when you are sniffing around the desktop, you find interesting things.  I sure did.  For those of you who are interested, I think that Jack takes some good pictures, especially those that have me in them.  So, without further fanfare, here they are.  Woof.

Does the camera add extra pounds?

I like this one, but those eyes!

What is it with the eyes?

I hope the snow doesn't fall on me when I go out before dinner.

Woof.  Hi Sugar the Weather Dog again.  I just got here, cause I've been waiting for Jack to go back to bed.  Now that I am sleeping next to the bed, I have to wait for him to be sound asleep before I get up, and if you knew Jack like I do, you'd know that he rarely, if ever, sleeps soundly.  I think he thinks too much.  Wow, did I just come up with an idea?  I dunno, hopefully somebody out there does.

I bugged Mary enough this morning so that she took me out so that she and Jack could be taken for walk.  If I didn't force the issue, they'd always stay in side, at least when the weather gets cold and windy.  A dog's work is never done, or something like that.  I like walking a lot, but when it gets too cold and windy for even me, I have to suck it up and get them out.  Sometimes only Jack will go, but I do my best.

Jack and I had a nice walk, until we were nearing home.  We were coming back up that big street that goes through town and I stepped into something that burned my paw, a  lot.  Jack tried to wipe my paw, he's like that, but it didn't help.  So, fine human my pawferred human is, he picked me up and carried me for a short distance.  I hope he didn't hurt himself, but my paw was really barking.  I know that my humans got boots for me last year, and I fight them when they put them on me, but they sure do keep my paws dry and out of that stuff that that burns my paws.

Not much more this early morning.  I think Jack did something to fix the heater, cause it is warmer in here now.  I knew he'd think of something, he always does.  Did I mention that my pawferred human is one of the smartest humans I've ever known.  Plus, when he has me working as his sou chef, he is generous to a fault.  Hey, how could he resist me, his pawferred Corgle.  That's just one of my names.  I also know that I am she, her, baby, silly dog, cutest dog on the planet, etc.  The list goes on and on.  I mostly don't understand what humans are saying, but I know what I know and I am especially sensitive to emotions.  Have I mentioned that before?

Oh well, time to get back to the second most important thing in a dog's life.  Once I get that out of the way, I can get to the most important thing.  Woof.

Woof everybody.  It has been awhile since I have been to the keyboard.  I think that Mary told Jack what I was up to, so I thought it best to lay low for awhile.  I don't have much to bark about today, but a few growls from this end seem appropriate.

Mary showed Jack a column the other day in which the first dog of California was profiled. Apparently in deference to his human, the governor of California, wherever that is, that handsome kin of mine, has no "Dogma" of his own.  He does have a name, Sutter Brown, and the governor became his human when the governor's brother had to move, at least that's what I thought I heard. I have included a link to the Facebook page for the the first dog: of California.  As you can see, he and I share some very recognizable similarities.  https://www.facebook.com/SutterBrown  Gotta love that Facebook thing.

Another link to Sutter is:  http://gov.ca.gov/s_firstdog.php and also:

http://www.buzzfeed.com/mjs538/the-40-most-influential-corgis-of-2012.

I totally recommend the last one.  There are just so many places to see my cousins.

Overall, I am working through some personal issues  Jack and Mary don't know what I am going through, but I do, and that's all that matters.  As long as I get fed and walked daily, everything is okay with me.

So, until I have more to bark about, I'll just say Woof to everyone.
